Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to oversee and optimize our warehousing operations. This pivotal role involves managing the day-to-day activities within the warehouse while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have robust experience in warehouse management and operations, alongside exceptional leadership qualities.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Develop and implement warehouse policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance productivity.
- Monitor inventory levels and oversee stock control to ensure optimal inventory management.
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff to promote safety and best practices within the warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate the logistics of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Manage and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance goals and exceed productivity targets.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree or HND in business administration, marketing or related field
- Proven experience as a warehouse manager or in a similar managerial role within the warehousing industry.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and inventory software.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various warehouse functions simultaneously.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in warehousing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with teams and departments.
