Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our team in the Security and Investigations industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Candidates with a strong understanding of financial regulations in the security and investigations field are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes effectively.
Conduct audits of financial documents to ensure compliance.
Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts periodically.
Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.
Collaborate with management to enhance financial processes and reporting.
Requirements
Female preferably
Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience working as an Accountant, preferably in the security and investigations industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
NYSC certificate of completion or exemption.
